“You go on. You set one foot in front of the other, and if a thin voice cries out, somewhere behind you, you pretend not to hear, and keep going.” ― Geraldine Brooks, "March"

Easter with the Feist Family
It's been a rough year for the Feist family. Around this time last year, Trent still had three living grandparents, and now he only has one remaining. (As far as other extended family, I've lost count of the funerals.) In any case, we decided a small, intimate gathering was appropriate this Easter, and though we missed the hustle and bustle of the big family gathering, it worked out better this way, especially for our little Great-Grandma. With Trev out of town (booo!), it ended up being just the six of us.
Great-Grandma Tronette and Camden were having so much fun playing together. Ricki said she hasn't heard her mom laugh like that in years.
Grandma and the Boo.
Bristle blocks are the coolest!
I always crack up when he does this. And he thinks he's pretty funny, too.
Grandpa, in the kitchen - as usual!
Awww... Aren't we cute?
