Go Rockies!

Trent got Rockies tickets through work. Yipee!

Grandma and Grandpa came, too. She mostly kept the kiddo busy with books, and at one time was so distracted from the game that she cheered for the wrong team. Haha! Thanks, Grandma! The evening went ever so much more smoothly because of you!

Not bad seats, eh? Row 14, right behind the Giants' dugout. Great game! Rockies won. :)

Random Family Reunion Shots

My unbelievably adorable nephew, Samuel (Adam & Nora's son). Love him. So stinkin' cute.

Camden "driving Granmy's beemer."

Nora and Sam-Sam.

While exploring the garage, Cam found these and decided he wanted to try them on.

The uncles figured out pretty fast who ends up getting worn out first when playing this game.

Nora, Adam, Joseph and Cam playing in the pool. (And J-rock steady cooling his heels in the shade in the background.)

Mima and Pipo watching the crazies play in the pool.

Granmy & Camden scoping out the ducks at University of Richmond. We took a loaf of bread to feed them, and Cam would grab a handful and yell "Hey! Ducks! Ducks, get over here!" and then fling the bread at them. We had to laugh.

On the way home with my little travel buddy. Pretty sure he's watching "Winnie the Pooh" on my iPod in this pic. (Ah, the methods I'll stoop to to keep my toddler busy for a cross-country flight.) Honestly, though, he was so amazingly well-behaved. P.S. I'm a big fan of the car-seat-on-the-airplane idea. Made a HUGE difference.

Hangin' With My Sis

While I was in Richmond, I spent some quality time with my sister, Becka, at her river, one of her most favorite places on the planet. (She just graduated from James River High School, which is not far from this spot.)

She may or may not have snuck into the boat house while we were there.

There's her boat! She is an award-winning crew junkie, and I'm so blasted proud of her.

Such a cutie. Love my sis.

One lazy, wonderful afternoon. Awesome.

Can't believe she's headed to college in a few weeks!

Virginia Beach

Hooray for our beach trip during the family reunion! We had so much fun.

Cam wasn't a huge fan of the water, but was happy to play in the sand.

His Daddy, on the other hand, couldn't wait to get out there and catch some waves!

Such a studly-man! This pic reminds me of our honeymoon. Sometimes I can't believe it's already been 7 years!

The girlies. (Aren't we cute?!) Nora, Melody, Becka, Mommy.

I thought it was funny when we all took off our cover-ups and I was the lady in red. Everyone else was all coordinated! (And yes, I can't believe I'm putting up a pic of myself in a swimsuit.)

Lovin' with my hubby on the beach.

My cute sister-in-law, Nora, and my husband in the background, characteristically doing something on his iPhone.

The Granmy and the Boo chillin' in the shade.

There were a lot of people there, especially for a Thursday, but not as many as the next two days (Fourth of July weekend), I'm sure. I'm so spoiled being from beach country in FL. We never would've gone to a beach that was this busy back in the day, but now we take what we can get. :)

Poppa cruisin' in on a wave. (A pretty great shot, if I should say so myself!) I love my Poppa.

Camden was all tuckered out after a long day, and Granmy was happy to snuggle him at the restaurant while we all ate a delicious beach-side dinner. He's getting so big. I hardly ever see him sleeping anymore.

Rita's

It's become somewhat of a tradition to stop in at Rita's Italian Ice (and frozen custard) when we visit my family in Richmond.

Camden, for one, is definitely okay with this tradition.

Uncle Jared likes it, too.

Pretty Granmy and my funny little kid.

Fourth of July

Okay, okay, so I totally have an excuse for being so late on this post. I was collecting pictures from everyone so that I could put up ALL my favorites at the same time. Mostly, I swiped a ton of these (actually all of these) from kt-pants. (Thanks, hunny!) I was too lazy to go get my camera during the festivities, and she humored me and kept taking pictures of things I told her to take pics of. hehe

Can I just take a minute to say how grown-up Cam looks in this picture?! And leave it to us to dress him in an Italian soccer shirt (from Granmy & Poppa's latest trip!) on the Fourth of July. Oh well, at least he's technically wearing red, white, and blue... and green. :)

The boys firing up the grill for the burgers and dogs!

Jared and Katie. I love them. They are so great together.

Okay, so basically my little brother is a crazy wild man when it comes to fire and/or explosives, which means playing with fireworks is one of his most favorite things in the whole world. It was almost more entertaining watching him set them off. Here we can see the beginnings of a 2-minute-long smoke bomb, which was Trent's idea. I really really want to steal the video of the boys' smoke dance (with bathroom towels)!!!

Teaching Camden about fire flies. He thought they were soooo coool.

Oooooh, aaaaah.

Joseph -- in heaven. He is such a nut!

Making some fireworks of our own. Har-har.

A semi-patriotic firework intermission dance by us girls.

The boys had a little too much fun with the glow-in-the dark jewelry. If you look closely, you can see Trent wearing blue earrings in the background. (He was "saving" them for Becka until she got home from work.) Later on, Jared came over and pretended to sneeze and had the yellow ones hanging out of his nose!

Nora, Katie, and me.

I think it's safe to say that Nora was runner-up for most excited pyro (after Joseph, of course).

This was most definitely the most fun I've had on the Fourth in many many many moons!

Harrison Family Photos

While we had everyone in VA for the reunion, we took some family portraits.

Here's the whole crew. (Top row, L-R: Jared & wife, Katie, Rebekah, Mommy, Daddy, Joseph. Bottom row: Mima & Pipo, my mom's parents; Trent, Melody, & Camden; Adam, Nora, & Samuel)

The original seven Harrisons, in age order L-R: Melody, Adam, Jared, Joseph, Rebekah. And Mom and Dad, of course. Yes, I am the shortest.

We can't NOT do a silly picture. One of my most favorite things about this one, though, is that Rodrick, Adam's imaginary friend is actually in this one. That, and the fact that Jared picked up mom's stone angel, but mom has no idea.

Jared and Katie, still the newleyweds, who just celebrated their first anniversary in May.

Mima & Pipo. I'm so glad they came out for the reunion.
