One of Camden's new favorite activities is taking his books off of his shelves,
and sitting on the floor of the nursery peacefully "reading" and humming to himself.
“You go on. You set one foot in front of the other, and if a thin voice cries out, somewhere behind you, you pretend not to hear, and keep going.” ― Geraldine Brooks, "March"
We are without our space-saver high chair for a couple days until I can replace the defective one I took back, so I decided to use the standby hook-on chair.
While the hook-on chair has been fabulous when it comes to portability, suddenly, I remembered why we opted for one with a big tray with sides for day-to-day in our own kitchen.
Yipee! Auntie Becka is here visiting from VA, and today we went to the Belleview Park. Interestingly enough, it was one of Trent's favorite parks as a child.
They even had a petting zoo, much to Camden's delight.
The mommies and the babies. (L to R) Emily w/ Carson and Austin, Kristalyn w/ Mason, Melody w/ Camden.
Goats! What fun! (He squealed and got all excited.)
Lots to look at.
Hangin' with the stone cow.
Gobble-gobble. What in blazes is that thing, Mommy?!
Yay! Water to play in!
Baby love...
Petting a calf.
Chillin' with the chicks (and a turkey).
Cool dudes, Mason and Camden.
The boys especially loved the train. It's been there since Camden's grandpa was little!
Waiting for the train to leave the station.
Auntie Becka and Cam.
Lunchtime.
Squishing Carson.
Yes please, I would like some of those.
The guys stopped in for a few hours on the way, which was so fun for us! Of course, little Camden wasn't any worse for the wear with all the extra attention!
