First Ride in the Big Stroller

No more baby seat for me -- I'm cruising in the big stroller, now!

(He actually stuck his left foot up on the tray and hung out like that for most of our walk.)

ExerSaucer

Granmy and Grampy and Uncle Joseph (home from his mission!!!) came to visit us this past week.
They spoiled us rotten. Here is Camden playing with his new favorite thing, the "Cadillac" of ExerSaucers, a gift from Granmy and Grampy.

Grampy calls it his "flying saucer." Silly Grampy!

Good Morning, Mom

This morning, I walked into the nursery to find this "Winnie-the-Pooh-and-the-Honey-Tree"-esque sight.

Not upset, just wiggling, grunting, and patiently waiting for me to rescue him.

Hi, Mommy. Help, I'm stuck.

First Official Mother's Day

Trent snuck into the nursery and took a picture of me being a real mommy on Mother's Day.

And, of course, here's a picture of my favorite Mother's Day present. (Aren't the rosy cheeks just too much?! Sunday was a nice, warm day.)

On a side note, with the nice weather comes progress on the landscaping front. We are working hard on the lawn, and it's finally paying off. Trent mowed after I took the picture, but you get the idea.

Just in case anyone's forgotten, here's what the front yard looked like when we moved in.

We even planted our first garden together as a family, and I got to use the fancy hand tools my hunny got me for my early Mother's Day present. We can't wait for fresh tomatoes, lettuce, squash, pumpkins, potatoes, beans, peas, spinach, corn and carrots... and plenty of food storage! Trent put in a cute little path to the shed and worked his tail off putting in a wood border around all our many flower beds and the garden. It looks sooo much better.

Also, I've decided that moving into a house where someone else has planted perrenials totally rocks in the springtime.

Little Helper

Ahhh... laundry day again. But at least I have some company -- and some pretty cute company, at that!
