We finally got around to taking Cam to our favorite ice cream place!

It's packed in the summer, and often, in the evenings, the line goes around the block.

Daddy ordered Camden an "itty-bitty" of vanilla frozen yogurt with a cone.

The baby's prefered posture while snacking at the ice cream parlor. I kept sitting him up, but once he figured out he could stick his feet on that bar, that's what he wanted.

Mmmmm! Wasn't that yummy? (Gee, Mommy, that piece of ice cream cone in your hair is so fashionable. I wonder how it got there!)

Trent and I are both major astronomy buffs. We're both in love with the sky and Trent is especially enamored with the toys. Lately, we've been rediscovering our hobby (thanks to the fact that we have a backyard, and it's been nice and warm outside!), along with Trent's passion for astrophotography. Here are a couple from his latest shoot.

Sesame Street Buddies

Daddy brought me some buddies that he won at a work function. I got sooo excited when I first saw them -- they're as big as I am!

Cookie Monster is my favorite, just like my Uncle Jared.

Don't ask why my front is soaked... just one of the joys of teething! (Mommy really does take care fo me -- she changed my outfit right after this.) Speaking of teething... Mommy finally caught my first little teeth on "film." Can you see them? (You may need to click on the photo to blow it up.)

After Granmy's doting and giggling over it the other day, I decided to enter Camden's infamous "scrunchy face" picture in a photo contest to appear on a Jones Soda bottle. If you've never seen their bottles, they always have pictures of everyday moments on them, and they're all different. It's not really about my expertise as a photographer -- they'll touch it up if they use it -- it's more about the content. Here's the link to vote: Jones Soda Photo Contest.

Kwik-E-Mart

For those of you who don't already know, 7-11 is promoting the Simpson's movie by converting about a dozen of their stores into "Kwik-E-Marts" complete with characters, signage, and product just like in the TV show. Much to Trent's delight, we have one right here in Denver.

So, of course, we had to take a family outing to go see it!

They did up every single one of the signs, even on the doors and on the gas pumps. A complete Kwik-E-Mart makeover. Quite a brilliant ad campaign, I'd say.

Baby Pool!

Camden had his first experience in a pool today. He loved it! Jackson and Nicole were very kind to have us over so the boys could play in their schwanky baby pool. It was a perfect day: really hot!

Camden's become pretty proficient at his backwards army crawl. Keeping him on a blanket on the hardwoods has kind of become a futile exercise.

I figure it's only a matter of weeks until he figures out how to crawl for real, and then I'm in BIG trouble! ("Who, me? But look how cute and innocent I am!")
