Temple Trip

It's hard to think of a better Sabbath evening activity than piling a couple of LDS families into a minivan and heading to the St. Louis temple grounds. :)

St. Louis Zoo

Our best friends, the Johnsons, had us out to St. Louis for Labor Day weekend. During our first full day, we went to the zoo, much to Camden's delight!

Garden Update!

Raspberries

This morning, I stood
in the brilliant sunlight
picking raspberries so ripe
they practically fell
off the bush
into my outstretched hands,
and I was touched
at how blessed I am.

So many people hunger
throughout the world
in so many different ways.

And I am filled.

The moment we've all been waiting for...

We are proud to announce the newest resident of our "astronomy corner," now home to 5 telescopes and equipment -- and decorated accordingly. :)

Tada! She's all finished, calibrated, and ready to go!

Of course (Murphy's Law), the night sky is totally socked in at the moment. *sigh* But... there will be other nights. We can't wait to take our home-made scope out for a spin!

Lawn Sweet Lawn

Okay, so I was trying to do a play on "Home Sweet Home," but I'm not exactly sure if it worked it out. Anyway ... as everyone already knows, my hunny totally rocks in every way. But lately I'm especially proud of his hard work on the lawn and how much of a difference it's made. Check it out!

Good Dental Hygiene

As you can see, Camden has learned how to put water on his toothbrush all by himself. Whether this is a good thing or not is currently a topic of debate in the Feist household.

Zucchini Bread Adventures
