Emergency Vehicles "Petting Zoo"

Imagine a parking lot full of emergency vehicles on which the little ones can crawl around to their utter delight. This is the stuff little boys' dreams are made of.

Cam was kind of disappointed at first that there were no police cars or fire engines, but seemed okay with the 2 Hummers and mobile command station (big police truck) nonetheless. He was fine with the free coloring books, stickers, and police badge too.

The view from the cab. From this angle, the name of the event, "Emergency Vehicles Petting ZOO," all of a sudden made sense. Keep in mind the insides of the vehicles were all packed with small children as well.

He's just too cute for words.

Driving these vehicles was very serious stuff.

Hanging out in the back. Someone's kiddo was sitting in the driver's seat of this one pushing buttons and released the emergency break. (Oops!) It happened again 5 minutes later and rolled onto the Army guy's foot (Double oops!), but I decided it wasn't very nice to take a picture. Thankfully, the Army guy refrained from profanity and fixed the problem by shoving something under the front tire after that. Second time's the charm, I guess. Poor guy, injured by a toddler... "Be all that you can be," dude.

So, we're touring this packed mobile command station, and what is my little man interested in? Changing the time on their clock. (I'm sure they were so grateful.) We have one like that at home and it is nearly impossible to re-set after he's been playing with it.

I love my boy.
