“You go on. You set one foot in front of the other, and if a thin voice cries out, somewhere behind you, you pretend not to hear, and keep going.” ― Geraldine Brooks, "March"

Cherry Creek Mall
While Granmy and Poppa were here, we went to the mall to walk around, get some wiggles out of the Wiggle, and follow a family tradition: Granmy does a Build-a-Bear with her voice in it for each of our children.

Liam guarding the stash. His bear is in the basket. Camden's got re-stuffed and acquired some ears just in time for Easter.
All tuckered out. Whew! Riding around in this awesome stroller is hard work. (Thanks for the awesome stroller, Granmy and Poppa!)

Camden cracks Granmy up. Hey Poppa, I'd love to get that picture you just took.

Liam's Blessing Day
What a beautiful day, full of fun and family. We missed everyone who couldn't make it, but you were definitely here in spirit.
Our little Liam, so handsome, was dressed in his mommy's blessing outfit (handmade by Mima) and his daddy's little shoes and socks. Camden wore the same outfit. I love that it represents the collaboration of our two families.
After the church service...
Family of four.
Granmy and Poppa came out from VA for the celebration.
Lovin' on the grandbabies.
Feist side: Great Grandma Tronette, Grandma, and Grandpa.
Lauri (Ed's little sister) and her husband Roy came to the service, too. We love those guys. They are so cool.
Us with Grandma and Grandpa.
Granmy enjoying the star of the day.

Mis padres.
Liam and Trent have an amazing connection. Daddy is definitely his favorite person, and he always gets the biggest smiles. It is so fun to watch those two together.

Baby Liam and Momma.
At the reception...
Grandpa and Piper
Trent's Aunt Joan and her kids, Jeremy and Tracie.
Full house! It was so great to see everyone, and fun to introduce the family to Liam.

Signs of the Times
I love the New Testament. I love to study about life of the Christ. It lifts me.
This morning I was reading in Matthew 24 about the Second Coming of the Savior and it really stirred my heart. We truly are living in the last days. As I read about "earthquakes in divers places" I thought of those suffering in Japan after the recent earthquake and tsunami. So many of the signs the Lord told his apostles about have already happened and and are taking place around us every day. It is a scary time. But then Christ's words spoke to me: "see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass."
As I look at my little sons I am in awe of their strong spirits. They are such special boys. I know they are Saturday's warriors sent to stand for truth and light at a time of such chaos. I am striving to raise them in the way I think the Lord would want me to, and I pray that as they go out into the world, they will be strong and make a positive impact on those around them. I think they will.

Libbie and Sammy

Jared and Libbie, all ready for church.
My niece is just too cute. I can't wait to meet her.
Thanks, kt, for the adorable pic, which I totally swiped from your blog. :)

Nora and Samuel hanging out at the beach.
While I'm showing off my nieces and nephews, here is a fantastic shot of Sammy and his amazing momma, Nora. I love them and miss them tons. Cam and Sam are total buddies, and I wish they lived close enough to each other to play all the time.
I am so grateful for blogs and facebook and texting and cheap long distance phone calls. They make me feel not so far away from my faraway family.
I love you all, faraway family.

Little Leprechauns
Happy St. Patrick's Day from our crazy cute boys!

Liam's first St. Patty's Day - 6 weeks old
Our big little leprechaun, complete with the booty he got during a treasure hunt at school

We had to settle for at least one of them looking at the camera before a complete meltdown.
So very appropriate.

Me: "Cam, stand over there, so I can see your shirt." And this is what I got. Hah!
Thanks for the fun outfits, Grandma!
Grandma and Grandpa took us out to celebrate Trent's latest achievement at work, too. (More about that later.) It was a fun day. :)

Kokoro
We took the boys out to dinner at one of our favorite places, a Japanese restaurant. They know us there, because we are regulars. The waitresses adore Camden and always come chat with him and bring him special treats. They also know to give him a doggy bag full of sweet-and-sour packets on the way out. Funny kid. Last night they were teasing him that they were going to borrow Liam because he's so cute.
Yulia: I'm going to borrow your brother, okay?
Camden: No.
Lenny: She wants to take him home.
Camden: But none of your breasts can feed him!

Helpful Big Brother
I pumped today, and Camden had his first bottle-feeding experience with Liam. He said, "Mom, that was fun! I never did that before!" He's such a great helper on all fronts: diaper-getter, baby entertainer, and general gopher extraordinaire.

Hanging Around the House
Here are a few shots of us hanging out and being a family, which we have been doing a lot of lately!
Daddy always manages to get the best smiles out of Liam!
Cutie pie. So alert.
Chillin' in the cradle - the same one his daddy, uncle, and big brother slept in.
Camden watching Veggie Tales, while Liam soaks up some sunshine under the window.
