Christmas Feist-Style

First up, cutting the Feist family Christmas tree in the mountains Thanksgiving weekend. The weather was gorgeous -- 50s and dry. (Yay for not having to hike in the snow!)

Such handsome boys. I just love them.

I was pretty exhausted after hiking to 10,000 feet seven months pregnant. But it was worth it!

This is the one! And what a beautiful view, eh?

Smokey the Bear was up there, too. Camden was totally freaked out by him, though. I finally convinced him to pose for a pic by offering to hold him and standing between the two of them.

Camden dubbed this year's tree "Small Pine." Here it is all decorated.

Camden really got into our traditions this year. It was almost magical watching his eyes sparkle and his imagination run wild throughout the Christmas season.

At our house, Santa only stuffs stockings. Cam asked him for "a shooting star, baby Googly bears (because apparently Googly got spayed this year and can't have babies anymore ... haha!), and a small spaceship." Anyone out there envy this shopping list? How on earth did Santa do it? Creative shopping and lots of help from his elves who make toys. That's how!
